Research focus

Translational AI in Laboratory Medicine

Research Description

Our research focuses on a) making AI models understandable in laboratory medicine: AI models are performing better and better, but on the other hand are becoming more and more complex, which challenges the understanding of them; and b)  the translation of AI models (that perform well, are understandable and detect complex patterns) for clinical implementation in research and diagnostic labs.
