AI-driven interaction with social interfaces
In my research I focus on artificial intelligence for social interaction between man and machine, using smart displays, social robots, and wearables. These social systems facilitate humans in performing all kinds of tasks ranging from data collection through interviews, behavior change management for a healthy lifestyle and support for decision making in, e.g., diagnosis. The aim is to develop personalized interaction that is engaging in the long-term and effectively embedded in the organizational context. This type of research is conducted in multidisciplinary teams of researchers which combine the technical as well as professional expertise to research and design social technology.
